The Dangerous Goods Emergency Action Code List for 2025 has been produced by the NCEC part of Ricardo, in co-operation with the UK Home Office, and is published by TSO.
The EAC List 2025 is effective immediately in connection with the use of ADR and RID 2025 and is mandatory from 1 July 2025. The Emergency Action Code List 2023 should no longer be used from that date.
Duty holders are required to use the 2025 EAC List for the application of the appropriate EACs under Schedule 1 of the Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations 2009 (CDG 2009) (as amended); and of the Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010 (CDG 2010) (as amended).
A physical copy of the publication is available to purchase from TSO.
